For a low investment vengeance, it sucks harder.Įlemental damage in weapons usually sucks. So occasionally a non undead stoneskin boss will be unbreakable, and I feel it is not worth designing your character for this occurances. Why use a sanctuary switch weapon as a paladin? Just use sanctuary yourself! The only non undead natural PI are: itchies (far oasis), black locusts (maggot lair), hell swarm (kurast bazaar), blood Lord (early act v), night marauder (nihls halls), and death berzerker (frozen tundra). Is it better to have my merc CtC this or myself and have merc wear Pride?
My merc currently wears Reaper's Toll with CtC Decrepify. With Decrepify I encountered a unique monster that I wasn't able to break Physical Immunity of so it's not a panacea. Weapons like Lawbringer, Reapers' Toll, Lacerator (?).ĪD is supposed to break any physical immunity (?).
CtC Decrepify / Amplify Damage on merc / switch. Should my merc go with Reaper's Toll or Pride if I use this option? I'm using Might merc so Pride would boost the damage even further, while Reaper's Decrepify is not needed for ele switch. Should I use Fanaticism for DPS or Conviction for better accuracy? Fanaticism is maxed, Conviction is lvl 8 (1 with bonuses). Zeal has very high AR bonus for hitting more accurately. Should I use Vengeance or Zeal on elemental switch? My Zeal is maxed, Vengeance is lvl 8 (lvl 1 with bonuses). Seems to work fine, but since I switch my Grief out, I start missing hits a lot. I currently have Azurewrath (listed as A tier in some long immunities guide, has decent elemental damage, also has Sanctuary aura) + Tiamat's (decent ele damage, rare for a shield). Elemental switch to Elemental weapon / Elemental shield. I'm listing some options and questions here, would be cool to know what's best! Hey guys, I researched the topic a bit but I don't have a clear picture of which way would be best.
